About Us

Anthem Pets, a 501-3 non-profit, is proudly celebrating 7 years of valued and trusted service here in the Phoenix North Valley.   If you have never heard of Anthem Pets, you should, and if you have not had to rely on Anthem Pets at any point, you probably know someone that has.

The mission of Anthem Pets is to implement a fully rounded animal welfare program that provides education and resources to the community at large and promote responsible pet ownership. Over the last 7 years the organization has grown in size and strength and their passion runs deep in this community.

Volunteers work tirelessly to provide many services for animals and pet owners in the North Valley.  They answer calls at the 24/7 hotline; find temporary foster and permanent homes for lost, found and abandoned animals; provide medical care for lost, found and abandoned animals; provide exercise and socialization at Jackass Acres K-9 Korral award-winning dog park; collect and distribute donated pet food to Black Canyon High Desert Helpers, Food Banks, Sr. Centers, and Meals on Wheels for needy pets; provide low-cost micro-chip and vaccination clinics two times a year; work with local law enforcement agencies on animal welfare and abuse issues; and facilitate educational programs on rattlesnakes, animal CPR, agility training and more.

You will find Anthem Pets just about everywhere in Anthem.  They are sponsors and supporters of Autumn Fest, Anthem Days, as well as other events in Anthem and surrounding communities.   You will also find signs outside of both entrances to Anthem with the Anthem Pets logo to make community residents aware of the work and support Anthem Pets provides 24/7.
